A Gainesville Tradition Since 1942

In 1942, the US Army Air Forces requisitioned these grounds to train Army Air Corps gunners how to lead targets in air combat. After the war it became a civilian gun club. Once funded by Gainesville Parks & Recreation, Gator Skeet and Trap is now a not-for-profit giving shotgun shooters of every skill level a safe place to enjoy clay target sports.

Proudly affiliated with USA Shooting, the National Rifle Association and the Amateur Trapshooting Association.
